GoodCompany Beginnings Overview

GoodCompany Beginnings is a non-residential program that provides green and social entrepreneurs with a dedicated business mentor and rigorous sessions with industry professionals. These advisors help our entrepreneurs accelerate their business ideas from concept to company.

The program is targeted at entrepreneurs who have an innovative idea, but who also require advice and know-how of a seasoned professional in order to bring that idea to fruition. Through this pairing with a seasoned expert, each Beginnings entrepreneur gains access to a wealth of knowledge that would otherwise be very time-consuming and difficult to acquire. Our network of mentors is eager to guide young innovators through the creation of new technologies and business models that are both profitable and socially beneficial. 

Services provided to participants in the program include:

Individual Mentorship: Six meetings between the entrepreneur and mentor, during which the mentor vets the business idea and helps the entrepreneur turn this idea into a viable, profitable business.
Additional Business Services: GoodCompany Beginnings has assembled advisors, preferred providers, and industry experts to consult and assist entrepreneurs in all variety of business issues, including financial, legal, marketing, and many other services.
Community Support: Members in all of our programs have access to GoodCompany workspace and staff. We are dedicated to helping all of our entrepreneurs succeed, and we are always available to them at all times. While those in the Beginnings program do not work out of our main office, but they do have the right to use our space seminars, meetings, or other purposes.
